A massive congratulations and thank you to all students who trialled for the Penrith Netball trip. It was a very difficult decision to make the selection, especially the 8/9 year team. I was overwhelmed by the number of students who trialled for this age group. St Edward's Netball club is in good hands with the up and coming talent.
Congratulations to the following players for being selected in one of the 5 teams we are taking away.
Ivy Allan, Natalia Allan-Saunders, Louise Archer, Lilly Aworth, Kaycee Betts, Ella Brewer, Ella Callcott, Mia Coombes, Shyloh Craig, Amiah Dubois, Abella Duffy, Aleah Edgecock, Sienna Erich, Indianna Fenwick, Mia Fieramosca, Zahlia Gall, Peyton Gippel, Alexa Haestier, Gigi Heywood, Sunny Jackson, Rhimyah Jenner, Ariana Johnson, Ruby Krog, Lucy Madden, Emmerson McMahon, Emma McMahon, Ruby Moore, Madeline Noad, Emily O’Connell, Mia O’Connor, Audrey Preston, Lilliana Seeck, Everly Shields, Kiarnee Smith, Mackenzie Smith, Lottie Smith, Charlotte Steel, Mackenzie Stevenson, Audrey Stewart, Charlotte Stuart, Aria Southerland, Mia-Rose Tolmie, Brooklyn Walker & Ruby Wall.

Emmerson McMahon played for Tamworth 12s at the State Netball Titles on the first weekend of the school holidays. The Tamworth team did so well, coming 5th out of 17 teams for their division! Only losing 4 games over the course of the weekend. Tamworth also won the Spirit Award for the weekend at State for their great sportsmanship across all ages.
On the first weekend of the school holidays Lily Pieper, Lilah Riordan, Sienna Erich, Phoebe McMahon, Ellie Palmer and Madeleine Riordan played in the Kim Small Shield four day competition. All the girls played their best and had fun!
Arlo Bullock and Kobe Warren both won bronze representing Tamworth U12s Little League at the Timberjacks Baseball Carnival held in Lismore from the 19th-21st July. They will both also play in the U12s Little League Country Championships to be held in Coffs Harbour in October. Congratulations to you both.
