Recognition of Learning Awards
Each Campus Assembly will occur fortnightly with 2 students from each class presented with a Recognition of Learning Award.

Living Well Learning Well Award
Congratulations to Kiana Tongs from 2G for consistently displaying our Living Well, Learning Well rules for living by being a safe, respectful learner in everyday interactions at St Edward’s School.
Year 1 Number Check Assessment
This week, Year 1 teachers along with the MaST/LoPs, were part of the Year 1 Number Check training led by the Subject Matter Expert: Mathematics team Casey Chard, Helen Rowsell and Tim Unwin from the Catholic Schools Office. Over two days, staff engaged in professional development and dialogue around the purpose and structure of the Year 1 Number Check. This assessment is conducted as a 1 to 1 observation between the student and teacher where a range of number based questions are posed to the student. Teachers are able to use the results from this assessment to design learning sprints to support all learners with their next steps in mathematics.
