Mitchkids

 Last Friday we had our last Mitchkids for the year. It was a day of celebrations after all the wonderful activities, stories and songs we have had in Terms 2 and 3. The activities we did to celebrate our time at Mitchkids was to ice a Marie biscuit with blue icing, add smarties for a rainbow and marshmallows for the clouds. The 5/6 buddies made one as well. We also decorated a special Mitcham Primary School windchime to take home. The story we read was ‘What Are You’ by Faulkner and Holmes and we read and sang the Magic School Bus, then after a few favourite songs, it was time to get together to eat our special biscuits and some fruit together with the buddies.

All the Mitchkids children then received a special certificate for attending Mitchkids in 2023.

It was sad to say goodbye, but we look forward to seeing lots of the Mitchkids at Transition next term.
