School Council for 2023

Dear Fellow Parents, 

As mentioned in our last newsletter, school camps are back on the calendar with deposits for the first camp being taken now!

If you have a child in grade 2 or 3 this year, they have the opportunity to go to Cave Hill Creek Camp next year from May 22-24. We are currently taking deposits to ensure we have sufficient student numbers to make the camp viable. And by taking deposits now, we are spreading the cost over many months to make payments easier for families. 

To ensure your child has a place on camp, please pay a $100 deposit by the end of this term.  You can use your Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund to do this, and you can use next year's Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund for some of the remainder. If a $100 deposit is difficult for your family, talk to the office about other options such as Centrepay for those on Centrelink benefits, or payment plans for others, as we want all children to have the opportunity to attend. 

Whilst the total cost for this camp is yet to be finalised, we anticipate it to be approximately $400-450. 

With the deposit paid by the end of this term, a further $100 will be due at the end of the year, a further $100 by the end of term one 2024, and the balance settled two weeks prior to the camp itself. We'd love to see all students attend!
