The Bridge Inn South District Athletics Carnival was held on Monday 28th August.

The EVPS team were chosen from our Term 1&2 PE classes in which each student had the opportunity to try out for all the Athletic events.

We had 54 students from Year 4-6s compete in 11 events including: 100m, 200m, 1500m, relay, shotput and discus to name a few.

There were many standout performances on the day with 24 students finishing in the Top 2, meaning they progress to the next round.

All students should be proud of their result and commended for their effort and behaviour throughout the day.

We wish the 24 students the best of luck in the Division Carnival next week, where they will be competing against schools from Mernda, Bundoora, Lalor, Mill Park etc.
