School Parliament News

One of the responsibilities of the RE/School Parliament Leadership Team is to make sure our three flags are brought from the office into the hall each assembly. Mr Dame has spoken at several assemblies about the origins of these flags.

They also put up the Australian Flag on the Pole outside each morning and take it down each afternoon. Because this flag is outside all day, it was getting quite worn out and damaged. Recently it even went missing.

One service that our Members of Parliament provide the community is flags for schools and other community locations. Therefore we reached out to our State Member of Parliament, Jess Wilson who is the Member for Kew. 

Jess has not only provided us with a new Australian Flag, but was also our special guest at Monday's assembly where she presented the flag to Will G our RE/School Parliament Leader.
