District Athletics

Last Tuesday 5th September the Warrandyte South District Athletics Trials were held at Bill Stewart Park Nunawading. The weather was cold, scattered showers, bearable until the intermitting showers became torrential. This occurred during our ball game activities.  The students’ efforts were fantastic even though we had many away, lots of students put their hand up to have a go in their spots and out of their age group. These kinds of days are not possible without the help and support of staff and parents, so I would like to say a HUGE thankyou to Peter Moore, Amber Kim and Ash (student’s teacher) for their support and help on the day. Thankyou also, to the parents who came along to support their child and the school. Thank you to all Marlborough PS staff in the days leading up to the carnival. 

We had some excellent results from the day, coming 4th overall. Everyone should be very proud of the way they performed and participated on the day.

Below is a list of children who finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Those that came 1st    and are in bold and highlighted and will be going on to compete at the Divisional Zone athletics next term on Wednesday October 4th. Congratulations to all students for a fantastic day.
