Our Dendy House Captains reflect on the day:

Phoebe "The day was magnificent! We all loved it. Thank you to everyone for showing up and trying their best. Thank you to Mr A for organising it and doing the wonderful job that he always does";

Finn "The day started out fun. We were all excited for the races. We all sprinted our hearts out, jumped as high and as long as we could and threw as far as we could. Good luck to everyone who is going to districts and go Dendy!

Junior Cross Country

On Monday was the junior cross country for preps to two’s. Our Year 6 Wilson house captains Lotte, Dan and Xavier coordinated our event and with the help of year 6 volunteers assisted our junior runners during their PE lesson. Though Dendy won with an amazing total of 198 laps, everyone gave it their all. They ran around the inside of the school, with each time counting as a lap and they got a tally on their hand. Even the younger students were able to complete the run without stopping and were determined to earn valuable points for their house. At the end of each class's turn they would sit down in their houses, hoping to have the neatest line to earn one extra point for their house, and we counted their tallies.

Final scores had Dendy with 198 laps, Grainger in second with 187 laps, Gordon in third with 183 and Wilson fourth with 168. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the junior cross country and had an amazing time.
