Book Character Parade - Thank you to students and families; the costumes you created and curated were SPECTACULAR!!  (See more photos in our special event page in this newsletter!) A lovely morning to be together to share the diversity and fantasy of the world of literature.  An extra special thank you to our wonderful hosts; Mr Willmott aka Mr Strong who anchored our parade with professionalism and a great sense of fun; along with Sophia and Sebastian who spoke marvellously in front of a very receptive crowd!   A very happy Wednesday morning for us all!

Biggest congratulations to the students above for completing the Victorian Premier's Reading Challenge!!  The Challenge finishes tomorrow, so you still have time to add the last book or two to your record.  There are a number of students who are so, so close, I'll have contacted your teacher to let them know!

All students who have completed the Challenge will receive their certificates at an assembly towards November this year. Well done to all students and families who took part, the Challenge is a personal reading goal and how ever many books and/or reviews were completed you all deserve a round of applause.
