SC States Recap

What an incredible three days of competition for our RSC swimmers at the Short Course State Championships!

🏊 11 swimmers represented us, including 5 first-time state swimmers making their mark on the big stage.

💦 42 swims in total, with 14 top 20 finishes and 4 finals appearances (5th, 10th, 9th, 5th). 🥳✨ 25 personal bests (PBs) smashed across the meet – amazing work!

🙏A huge thank you to our amazing coaches Brendan, Ava, Carlos, Lucy & Bayley for supporting our swimmers every step of the way. We’re so proud of every swimmer for their dedication, determination, and fantastic performances!

🌟A very special shoutout to Meike and Austin for their incredible achievements at the SC State Championships!

Meike had an outstanding meet, qualifying for three individual finals — a fantastic reflection of her hard work, consistency, and determination in training. Reaching that level across multiple events is no easy feat, and we couldn’t be prouder of her efforts.

Austin also showed his class in the pool, qualifying for a final of his own. Making it through to a final at this level takes focus and commitment, and Austin rose to the challenge beautifully.🌟

What an incredible way to wrap up the Short Course season! Our swimmers gave it their all in the pool, delivering strong performances, personal bests, and plenty of team spirit along the way.

Now we turn our attention to the exciting Long Course season ahead. We can’t wait to see what our swimmers will achieve next!
