Term 3 Highlights – A Term Full of Learning and Celebration!
Dear Families,
Term 3 has been a vibrant and eventful one, packed with special days, excursions, celebrations, and learning beyond the classroom.
Here’s a look back at the wonderful extracurricular experiences our students and community have enjoyed:
🎉 Celebrations and Special Days
- Milo’s Birthday Surprise delighted our Foundation students early in the term.
- We marked 100 Days of School, a major milestone for our Foundation cohort.
- National Aboriginal Children’s Day was celebrated in style with students wearing fun socks and shoes.
- Our community came together for the Father’s Day Celebration, honouring the wonderful dads and father figures in our lives.
- Students and staff embraced RUOK? Day, promoting wellbeing and connection across the school.
- Mary MacKillop Feast Day and the Feast of the Assumption provided opportunities for prayer and reflection.
- Our Book Week celebrations included the much-loved Book Week Parade, showcasing creativity and a love for literature.
🏊 Sport and Active Events
- The Year 2 Swimming Program ran across the first two weeks of term, supporting water safety and confidence.
- Selected students proudly represented our school at the District Athletics held at Casey Fields.
🧪 Learning Beyond the Classroom
- Students enjoyed a jam-packed National Science Week, themed "Decoding the Universe", with engaging STEM-based activities.
- Year 4 students had two rich learning experiences:
- An RSPCA Incursion, learning about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
- A Melbourne Zoo Excursion, deepening their knowledge of animal habitats and conservation.
- Our Foundation students explored nature at the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens during their first major school excursion.
- Students in Years 5 and 6 participated in the Sacrament of Confirmation Masses, marking an important step in their faith journey.
✝️ Faith & Community Events
- First Communion Parent/Child Workshops supported families in preparing for this important sacrament.
- Many families joined us for the First Communion Mass, celebrating a meaningful milestone in our students' spiritual lives.
- Student-Led School Tours were held, providing prospective families with a firsthand look at life and learning at our school.
- Foundation 2026 Play Sessions welcomed our future students and families, helping them feel part of our community.

- School Photos captured memories of this special school year.
- Berry Street Day 3 professional learning saw staff continue their commitment to student wellbeing and trauma-informed education.
- Senior students challenged themselves in the Australian Mathematics Competition, showcasing problem-solving skills and perseverance. We are very proud that over 100 children participated and send a special congratulations to the students below who recieved profciency, credit or a distinction award.
