Principal's Report
Today is R U OK? Day, a national day that reminds us all to check in with the people around us. At Box Hill North Primary School, we know the importance of compassion, connection and care. It only takes a simple conversation to make a difference, and it was heartening to see our students reflecting on how they can support one another as friends, classmates and community members.
Today we also celebrated the achievements of our students who represented BHNPS at the District Athletics Carnival. We are so proud of the way they competed with determination, supported each other, and displayed excellent sportsmanship throughout the day. Their participation is a wonderful reflection of the values we hold as a school.
Looking ahead, we are excited for our whole-school celebration of positive behaviour achievements with “Two Lunch Day” on Monday, September 15. The Junior School Council have worked with their classmates to help plan this special event, which will include:
This promises to be a fun and memorable way to celebrate the positive efforts of all our students this term.
Term 3 finishes on Friday 19th September at 2.30pm
We will have a whole school Assembly at 2.30pm - we would love to see you there!
As we head into the final week of Term 3, I want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful learning, growth and experiences we have shared this term. From the excitement of our Grade 3/4 Camp, to the way our students have welcomed short-term international visitors into their classrooms, to the many learning celebrations across the school, it has been a busy and rewarding term. Thank you to our staff, students and families for the commitment and energy you bring to our community each and every day. I look forward to finishing Term 3 on a high note with our students and celebrating their achievements before the holidays begin.
