Sports Colours Day – Fundraiser for New Sandpit Toys

This term the Junior School Council (JSC) have been meeting every second Monday to share ideas about how to improve our school. One suggestion that came from a class was to get new sandpit toys. When we looked into this further, we discovered that over 60% of our current toys are broken! JSC all agreed with this idea as it would make the sandpit a more enjoyable place to play.

From there, JSC decided to work together to make a change. We thought about how we could raise money, and agreed that a casual dress fundraiser would be a great idea. The next step was to present this idea to School Council. Our JSC President, Madelyn, did a fantastic job presenting the proposal, and School Council gave their full support.

Sports Colours Casual Dress Day will be on the final day of Term 3 - Friday, 19th September. Students are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite sports team colours. A gold coin donation will help us raise money to purchase brand new sandpit toys.

We can’t wait to see our school full of colour and school spirit!
