Victorian State School Spectacul

On Saturday 13th September, 20 students performed in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular. 

After months of practise it was so wonderful to see it all come together in John Cain Arena! 

Some of the highlights of the show included ‘Rather Be’, the dance for ‘Freed From Desire’ and listening to a lead cast member perform a stunning rendition of ‘Songbird’. 

Here are some reflections from the students involved:

“It was amazing seeing all of the lights and dancers in the arena”. 

“I loved when we got to do our Mexican wave dance move!” 

“I learnt how to control my breath when singing. It helped me to hold longer notes without struggling”. 

“I loved all the costume changes”. 

“I enjoyed watching the weather forecast skits”. 

“It was fun, we got to meet new people”.
