Fabulous Friendship Poems in Grade 2

In Grade 2, we have been busy writing our own poems all about friendship!

Using a range of poems we read together as inspiration, the students explored how to use adjectives and verbs to make their writing more descriptive. We also focused on creating rhymes and arranging our ideas into rhythmic lines and stanzas. The children showed great creativity and persistence as they worked on their drafts and published their final poems.
