Committee Update

Monday night we held our first committee meeting for the 2025–2026 season. It was a productive and positive discussion, with the committee united and aligned as we look to the year ahead.

We were fortunate to be supported by Jason from Swimming Victoria and Greg from the Metro East District, who shared valuable insights into good governance and what makes swim clubs successful. Their guidance will be of great benefit as we begin our journey together this season. Ringwood Swimming Club has a rich history, a strong community presence, and is such an important club to the Metro East Region and to Swimming Victoria.

Over the coming months, the committee will be working closely with Swimming Victoria by completing governance training modules and undertaking professional development to strengthen our knowledge and processes. This will help us ensure the future of Ringwood Swimming Club remains bright and sustainable.

A key focus in the coming weeks will be revisiting the club’s purpose and values. This important work will then guide the development of a new club plan to help us set clear priorities and build on the strengths of our community.
