RSC Weekly Update

Reminders!

State Team Breakfast- Saturday 6th Sept 10:00am in the Clubrooms

Please join us in the clubroom after training next Saturday 6th September at 10:00am for a team breakfast and presentation of state caps and polos to swimmers who have qualified for the Victorian State Age Short Course Championships. 

 

We have 11 swimmers who have qualified and will race against the best in the state from 12th-14th September. The hard work these swimmers have put in over the short course season will be recognized in front of their peers and squad mates. Parents and siblings are welcome. 

 

Congratulations to the following swimmers, who will be celebrated on the 6th September: Michael B, Isla C-M, Callum K, Jayden K, Ivan L, Morris W, Meike C, Emily Liu, Austin M, Sophie Z, Alice Z.

We have a private Facebook group for parents/RSC members to maintain better control over ensuring only current members are part of the group. You can request to join using the following link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3786057805009504/ OR by searching for 'RSC Parent Group' on Facebook.

Social Media NEW Accounts

The new committee has unfortunately encountered some difficulties accessing our club’s previous social media accounts. As a result, we have been unable to update those pages or share important news with our members for the past two weeks. To ensure that our communication remains clear and consistent, we have created brand-new official accounts on both Facebook and Instagram.

 

We invite all members to follow and engage with our new pages:

Please also remember to unfollow the old accounts, as these will no longer be updated. Doing so will help prevent any confusion and ensure you don’t miss out on important announcements. Don't worry if you are not on socials, you will still receive communications via Operoo.

 

While our new accounts are only just getting started and may look a little bare for now, they will soon become an exciting hub for all things RSC. You can look forward to regular updates, event information, swimmer achievements, and celebrations of the incredible community spirit that makes our club so special.

 

We are grateful for your support and understanding during this transition. By following and sharing our new pages, you are helping us strengthen our club community and showcase the wonderful work of our swimmers, coaches, and volunteers.
