Early Years Concert!
Wow, wow, wow! What a great afternoon! There was a buzz of excitement which I loved and hope you all felt too. I’m so absolutely proud of all of the kids who battled nerves and got up there anyway! So many huge smiles and joyful faces, it really is one of my favourite days of the school year.
It’s so important to me that the students lead the decisions about their concert. They choose the theme, their class song, their costumes and most of their movement. I just help them piece it together. The smiles on their faces yesterday showed ownership, pride, happiness and engagement. I couldn’t ask for more!
One of my favourite moments was watching our Foundation kids take to the stage for the first time! To just meet me and go straight into concert practice wasn’t ideal so I’m looking forward to a slower paced, more fun and relaxed Term 4 with them to really build some relationships.

To our 2 Performing Arts Captains Phoebe Todd and Violet Kiddle for writing their script and for MCing the event. The growth in confidence between the two concerts was awesome to see.
To all of the teachers for your support with extra rehearsals etc, thank you! I especially loved seeing the musical talent in some of our staff. Our rehearsals together were so much fun, maybe not as many as we needed but still so much fun and lots of laughs! Loved every second!
To the wonderful and talented A Team in the office. Couldn’t do it without you girls! Thank you!
Don’t forget to get in your orders for the concert recording. We have been given 2 more weeks to get our orders in! It has both Senior and Junior concerts on it and is an awesome keepsake for only $33 which helps us pay for their services! I already received my link, and I can’t wait to watch it.
