Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,

This week we celebrated the Catholic Tradition of All Saint and All Souls days. The children have celebrated the traditions of the Saints in their classrooms. We have had a happy week this week. We have been celebrating the success of the year and the staff have been working hard with children to assess for end of year reports. Tomorrow we look  forward to Drew Lane returning to school to record the new school song with the children. We will launch the song at the Christmas Concert and can't wait to share it with you.

Please make sure that you have been checking SEESAW for the market day updates. The P&F are in full swing working hard for this very important day in our community calendar. Please pray for good weather in your prayers!

Next week we have a school closure day on Monday for staff to write reports and we are closed on Tuesday for Melbourne Cup Day.  We are having another bring something for the Market day next Friday and we will continue with individual testing for children's end of year results.  Rod will return next week from his extended break and the community are looking forward to hearing about his wonderful journey.

A reminder that we have added the annual Lapathon to the calendar .  It will take place on Wednesday 29th November. This Lapathon is our way to do some social service for our community. The finances we raise on this day are donated to our local chapter of Vinnies and helps with the delivering of food and gifts at Christmas for those in need in our community. What a wonderful lesson for our children to learn.

God bless

Sally Thomas

Acting Principal
