The library is the temple of learning, and learning has liberated more people than all the wars in history.
In the LRC at Our Holy Redeemer, there are many books, both modern and classical. Here are some of the new titles our library has to offer, due to our successful Lamont Book Fair held earlier this year.
It's truly wonderful to see the range of books borrowed by OHR students on a regular basis. Please continue to make book suggestions, to allow other readers to gain ideas about the wonderful books you have read!
CHESS Club on WEDNESDAYS!
Chess Club runs during second break on WEDNESDAYS. Please collect an enrolment form from the office if your child would like to participate. Chess Club is facilitated by NORTHERN STAR Chess who provide an expert to run our chess sessions.
The students compete in tournaments where they play within a specific time frame and each week they compete against different Chess Club members.
