Australian Mathematics Competition

Every year, about 200,000 students from Years 3 to 12 participate in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC). On Thursday 3rd August 2023, the below STM students participated in this prestigious competition. Just like in any sport, competitions instil drive, resilience and perseverance, while also helping students to develop their problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. 

We are very proud of our students and congratulate the following students for completing the 2023 AMC.

St Thomas More's Got Talent

Last week, our school assembly was rocking to the musical gifts and talents of our students who participate in instrumental lessons with Jed. We were blown away by their courage to perform in front of a crowd and the level of skill and precision each performer displayed throughout the concert. Bravo to our talented instrumental students!

A huge thank you to Jed (drums and guitar) and Madeleine (keyboard and vocals) for running our instrumental program. Please get in contact with our school office if your child is interested in lessons for 2024.
