Some great learning is happening...

Throughout the school we have a lot of great learning experiences happening. Last week our preps went to the cinemas, focussing on how movies entertain us. They are exploring other multimedia before creating their own.

This week our year 1/2s explored ACMI the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, focussing on the different ways we can capture an audience through media.

Next week our 3/4s will attend ACMI and we hope they are inspired as they begin to plan their multimedia projects.

In the 5/6s, angles have been investigated in a variety of ways; learning the names of different angles, how to use a protractor to measure angles and then using robots to draw shapes by coding sides and angles. Below is a photo of two students using trial and error to code the iRobot to draw a decagon.
