Assembly

Year 4 with Kathryn
Year 4 presented at assembly last Friday. We heard all about their camp experiences at Howmans Gap, including what was their favourite activity, what they were most proud of and what they found to be most challenging.
Last Thursday and Friday 35x grade 3 and 4 students, Carolyn, Kathryn, Kath, Diedre and Nathan, along with Mitch’s mum Belinda, Van’s dad Lee and Griffin’s dad Jarrod as parent helpers, travelled up to Howmans Gap for our school camp.
Everyone was so excited! Over the two days students rotated through 6 different challenge activities which tested their team building and problem solving skills as well as all of our school values - resilience, kindness, pride and respect.
We climbed, swung, cooked, balanced, shot arrows, pulled ropes, belayed and wedgied our way around the activities. We enjoyed delicious spaghetti bolognes with broccoli for tea.
The games room was a big hit with the pool tables, fuse ball and table tennis and we also really enjoyed playing Ga Ga and shooting basketball.
Thank you to our Year 6 hosts Aimee, Bianca, Ari, and Jackson.
