Year ⅔ Assembly Snapshot

Our Year ⅔ students participated in a whole school fun day on Friday, 10 November. Here are some of the highlights below:

A highlight for me was the Nerf gun activity because it was amazing! We were on teams and I was on a team with Gunner. (Jacob)

A highlight for me was playing nerf-wars because it was fun. I was on a team with Jacob. (Gunner)

My favourite activity was inflatable soccer because l knocked over Ari around 15 times. (Bryce)

A highlight for me was the big slide because Brianna and I helped Rachel down the slide. She was terrified at first

, but in the end, she was screaming at the top of her lungs, 

“This is the best thing l have ever done in my life.” (Payton)

My favourite activity was playing with the Nerf guns because I could hit Bryce and lots of other people. (Ari)

My favourite activity was dodgeball because Brianna and I were the last people standing. (Jackson) 

A highlight for me was knocking everybody over when I played inflatable soccer. (Caelum) 

A highlight for me was going down the big slide at supersonic speed because it felt like I was never going to stop! (Florence)

I was really nervous about participating in the Nerf gun activity, but I gave it a go and it turns out it's not so bad after all. That made me realise that giving something a try is better than judging a book by its cover. (Eliza)

My favourite activity was going down the big slide because I went down really fast like a cheetah. (Alessia)

Year 2 Fun Night

Our Year 2 students enjoyed the Year 2 Fun Night on Friday, 17 November.  They participated in a number of activities including, biscuit decorating, parachute games, making tunnels, art and craft and walking around the school in the dark.  Here are some fantastic descriptions below:

Greta

My highlight for Year 2 fun night was decorating the biscuits with icing and lollies.

I loved this activity because I could add whatever I wanted onto each biscuit and we got to decorate 3.

Ezra

My highlight for Year 2 fun night was having pizza for dinner.It was really cool sitting up in the staff room eating our pizza. 

Braxton

My highlight for Year 2 fun night was having pizza for dinner. I loved the Hawaiian pizza because it is my favourite pizza. It was fun being in the staffroom. 

Rachel 

My highlight for Year 2 fun night was decorating the biscuits and also the parachute activity with the balls.We also got to run underneath the parachute.

Emily

My highlight for Year 2 fun night was when we made the tunnels with our tables and covered them with our blankets. We timed ourselves as we went through. It was really fun even though I banged my head.
