Years 1 and 2

What a busy week we have had in the 1/2 learning space! Even though it was a shorter week for students, we certainly packed a lot in!

It was wonderful to see so many students come dressed in their Italian colours on Wednesday. Thank you for the gold coin donations which will go towards the Brigidine Asylum Seeker Project.

Students had a fabulous time on Thursday at the Kaboom Kids Sports session held at Kyabram P-12 College where they represented our college with great teamwork, listening and sportsmanship. Thank you to students from the 5/6 area who assisted in the running of the event.

Our excited and enthusiastic Year 2 students had their long awaited Year 2 sleepover in the Brigidine Centre last night. Much fun was had playing games and enjoying the playground to ourselves, eating pizza and chips, and of course - sleeping over in the BC! We hope everyone in Year 2 can have a restful weekend catching up on some sleep and quiet time after the excitement!

We finished our week with the SOLE Diversity Day and colour run. Photos to come soon!

We have all been enjoying our Inquiry lessons about Forces and Energy. We have made Pom Pom Poppers which proved a real hit. We were testing our poppers out to see where and what type of force was applied to make our pom poms pop!

We look forward to welcoming parents and friends to share our learning about Forces and Energy at our upcoming Arcade Extravaganza.
