Showcase and Shine
Organisation for our Showcase and Shine is well on the way and the excitement is building. We look forward to seeing you at school, to join in the celebrations of student learning and growth in 2023 on Wednesday 6 December, from 5 to 7pm. Student work will be on display and there will be a variety of activities for students and their siblings, parents and carers to participate in.
2024 Teaching Team
As you are aware, we have appointed four new teachers for 2024. Our section teaching teams for next year comprise of:
- Early Education Program: Catherine and Allison.
- Primary: Shalini, David, Hannah D, Justin, Jaymee and Rachel.
- Secondary: Nick / Dushaan (share class), Megan and Ashlee / Bec (share class).
- Transition: Sam / Dushaan (share class), Adrienne and Carol.
- Specialist: Bec, Emma G, Babitha and Belinda.
Whole School Transition Activities
We have two whole school transition sessions coming up. On Monday 11th and 18th December, from 2 to 3pm, students will move to their new 2024 class/section and start to become familiar with a new group of students and staff in a new classroom.
Our new Foundation and Secondary students are invited to attend these transition sessions. We warmly welcome new students and their families to the Croydon SDS community. Our new Foundation students are also invited to an afternoon play next Monday from 3:30pm.
In 2024, we look forward to welcoming all Croydon SDS families to the new school year with a ‘Meet the Class Team’ afternoon on Wednesday 21st February.
