Prep Update

Learning From Term 4 Weeks 7 & 8.

Reading	Students will learn the long /i/ phoneme is represented by the grapheme ‘ie’. Students will also be looking at texts that are persuasive to support their persuasive writing.
Writing	Students will learn to write persuasively to convince others to agree with their point of view.
Maths	Week 7- Students will investigate Australian money. Week 8 - Students will learn to create, continue and describe the nature of many types of patterns eg. colour, size, shape
Inquiry	Students will be designing and building their own toy using recycled materials.
Social and Emotional	Students will learn to persist when they find things challenging and will explore the concept of acceptance.

Friday 22nd of November -Dress up as something starting with the first letter of your name. Please bring a gold coin donation. All money raised will go to the 'It's Okay Not to Be Okay' foundation.
Monday 25th November – Responsible Pet Incursion
Wednesday 27th November – Curriculum Day
