P-2:

The end of the year is in sight—how crazy is that! Our students have begun their 2024 review work, revisiting key topics from this year to ensure they’re ready for what’s ahead. Last week, they focused on animals from Term 2, and this week, it’s all about food from Term 3. One of the highlights has been their incredible work constructing a burger entirely in Auslan—such a creative and engaging way to practice their signing skills!

This past Friday in Assembly, we were treated to a wonderful performance by students from 1/2A. Their enthusiasm and preparation shone through, and it was a joy to see them represent their class so well. With just a few weeks left, we’re excited to see the students finish the year strong and celebrate all they’ve achieved!

Yr 8:

Year 7s are Year 7s no more—they’ve officially begun their "Flying Start" program and are already stepping up to the challenges of Year 8! With a fresh change of classes and a return to four forms, students have embraced the new structure with enthusiasm. It’s been wonderful to see them dive into their Year 8 journey, eager to build on everything they've learned so far and set themselves up for a fantastic year ahead.

As part of their consolidation, the new Year 8s have been reinforcing their vocabulary through a variety of engaging games. These activities have been a fun way for students to review what they’ve learned while keeping the energy high in the classroom. We’re excited to see how they continue to grow in the weeks to come, making the most of this head start into Year 8!

Thank you,
