$400 School Saving Bonus - is now live

The Victorian Government School Savings Bonus (SSB) portal has now opened and the Department of Education have begun emailing out parent voucher codes. 

The $400 voucher will help families cover the cost of uniforms, textbooks, excursions, activities and we have recently learned that the SSB is also able to be used for the College Instrumental Music program.  To action this, please select the 'school activities' option. 

We are also pleased to let families know that Bennett's Intersport will also be available to use in the Parent Portal, once the Department of Education have finalised their work on this.  We will let families know once Bennett's come online in the portal. This will compliment our current suppliers on the portal including:  Campion Education; Workwear Connect; State Schools Relief; Edrolo and School Activities.

If you have not yet received your email voucher, don't worry as these are still continuing to be rolled out.  Please also make sure to check your spam/junk email folder.

If you have not received your School Saving Bonus code via email by Monday December 2 , please contact the Department of Education by emailing school.saving.bonus@education.vic.gov.au or phone 1800 338 663 during business hours. 

As this program is new and covers the entire State, please be patient when making enquiries with the Department.  They have let schools know that they are working through all emails and queries and resolving these as quickly as possible. 

The School Saving Bonus is available to nominate your choice of activities until 30 June 2025 and so if you have not yet received your voucher or used the portal, there are many months ahead that this will continue to be available.
