5/6 News
Welcome Back from Camp!
Our Grade 5/6 students have returned from camp, and what a fantastic experience it was! We're incredibly proud of each student for embracing the challenges, teamwork, and fun that camp brought. This week, Dave from camp joined us to debrief with the students, celebrating their personal growth and achievements. It was inspiring to see the confidence and self-esteem our students have gained through their experiences, embodying our camp values with pride.
Congratulations, Ella, who recieved "Rancher" at the end of the Camp...

Assessment and Reporting Season
As we move into assessment and reporting weeks, our students have been hard at work in all areas of their learning. Despite the focus on assessments, they continue to make impressive strides in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry.
In literacy and inquiry, we’ve been exploring Costa Rica, tying this into our studies on fables, myths, and legends. Students have shown incredible creativity in writing their own fables and legends, expanding their knowledge and understanding of these storytelling traditions. It’s been wonderful to see their imaginations at work and to witness their growth as young writers.
Sports Tryouts Next Week
A reminder that next week, our Grade 5s will have the opportunity to try out for Basketball, Bat Tennis, and Softball teams. We encourage all interested students to give it a go and put their best foot forward!
Thank you for your continued support in what has been an exciting and productive term!
