Nude Food Is Here at Newlands!

In Community Inquiry, 3/4C and 3/4F are finding ways to tackle the litter in our yard and beyond. 

Evie and Isabel (in 3/4F) along with Bonnie McC and Hayley (in 3/4C) have decided to run weekly Nude Food days for the rest of the term. Here's a message from them:

"Nude Food Day is here! Get ready to pack some rubbish-free lunches! They will be held on the remaining Tuesdays of the term. We will be awarding the best Nude Food classes in assemblies." 

These four students brought along Nude Food lunches for me to photograph, and I found lots of other waste-free lunches, too! See the photos below for inspiration.

The aim is to avoid packing anything that would need to go in the red bin (destined for landfill). Reusable plastics are fine, as are paper bags. So, leave the plastic wrappers, juice boxes, and other disposable items at home on Tuesdays, if possible!
