Shape Fun!

Students in M5 have been learning all about two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes. We have had a lot of hands on learning experiences. We started by making some two-dimensional shapes using icy pole sticks. Students had to make a shape and describe its features. 

We finished off this learning by making three-dimensional shapes using playdough and toothpicks. Students were able to choose any shape to make. Once they made the shape, they had to share the name and features of the shape including how many edges, faces and vertices it has.
