Children's University Graduation

On Thursday, 28 November, I was thrilled to attend the Children's University graduation ceremony of nineteen Mullum Primary School students.  Children's University celebrates out of classroom learning that students undertake throughout the year, log the hours in their passports and when they have accrued 30 or more hours, they qualify to graduate. The ceremony was held at Swinburne University in Hawthorne, complete with pomp and ceremony.  Students from Grade 3-6 will have the opportunity to enrol in the program in 2025.  Those that completed their first 'degrees' in 2024 will be able to accumulate hours and progress through higher levels of achievement.  There was plenty to celebrate last week.
