Dear Valkstone PS Community, 

A huge thank you to our wonderful Year 4 parents and students who participated in our final working bee for 2024 on Sunday, November 17th. Your dedication and team spirit made a significant difference to our school environment as you tackled painting projects, grounds maintenance, and furniture cleaning. 

Special appreciation goes to our parent volunteers who provided the delicious morning tea, making the event even more enjoyable for all involved. 

The collaborative effort shown on Sunday perfectly demonstrates the strong community spirit that makes Valkstone PS special. Together, we accomplished: 

• Painting works around the school 
• Comprehensive grounds weeding 
• High-pressure washing of classroom desks 

Looking ahead to 2025, we eagerly anticipate your continued involvement in these valuable working bees. Your contributions not only enhance our school's appearance but also strengthen the bonds within our school community, creating a more welcoming environment for all Valkstone PS families.
