SUPPORTING YOUNG PEOPLE DURING THE HOLIDAYS

As the end of the school year approaches, holiday mode starts to kick in and a break from routine is the new norm for at least six weeks, we understand that many of the daily connections that students also go into 'holiday mode'.  This can affect people in two ways; it can be seen as a perfect way to recharge before a new year starts or it can stir a sense of unease because the social connection they crave will not be there for a duration of time.

Headspace has produced a great resource for families to assist in managing these routine changes and give some great tips.  If you have concerns for your child during this time please access the support service options listed in the green box.
