Foundation (Prep-Year 2)

Prep A have had a wonderful start to Term 4!

On Tuesday we began our swimming program. Prep A students loved learning swimming skills and safe in the water. We have been exploring sinking and floating through our Inquiry unit, ‘Make it Move’. We engaged in a language experience where we tested whether a variety of objects sank or float, then recorded our observations. We are learning all about money in numeracy and have created our very own toy shop in the classroom. Prep A students have been practicing their responsibility skills in and out of the classroom through learning how to help each other. Prep A look forward to a term packed full of fun and learning! 

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

This term in Writing, Lower Primary have been exploring the exciting world of being in a band! They designed and created their own musical instruments including guitars, trumpets, drums, and maracas and teamed up with their bandmates for a special photo shoot. Using a green screen, we placed them on a virtual stage with their instruments, bringing their band to life. It’s been a fun and creative experience that sparked lots of imagination and teamwork!
