The Huddle

Sailing
Our Term 4 Sailing Program set sail on Saturday under perfect conditions. This season marks an exciting new chapter, with sessions now held at the Watsons Bay Pilot Station and our Kambala sails proudly on display for the first time. Students developed their foundational sailing skills, including tacking, jibing, helming and key safety techniques. With the addition of our Racing Team, Kambala Sailing continues to go from strength to strength — we look forward to seeing our girls out on the stunning Sydney Harbour in the weeks ahead.

Year 3 Soccer and IPSHA Basketball
The Year 3 Invitational soccer and IPSHA Basketball got off to a positive start for 2026 in great conditions and at a magnificent venue. All teams playing at Moore Park got their nervous energy out of the way early to show some promising signs for the rest of the season.
Our coaches were impressed with the determination and enthusiasm the teams showed and have plenty to work with to develop and hone their soccer and basketball skills over the next few weeks.

Australian Triathlon Representative - Piper Sweeny
Piper Sweeny competed at the World Triathlon Championships in Wollongong on the weekend. She was the youngest competitor on the Australian team, and it was a great experience for her to compete against the best in the world. Her team finished a creditable 19th, and she will use all she has learnt from her Australian team mates to build on for the future. Congratulations to Piper.

ISHE Interschool Horse Extravaganza Tamworth
Amber and Lara Schwartz competed against schools from all over NSW and Australia at the ISHE (Interschool Horse Extravaganza) in Tamworth. Congratulations to Amber who came 5th in the 65 cm Eventing division with Lara Schwartz placing 2nd in the 50 cm Eventing division. Eventing includes dressage, show-jumping and cross country, so the girls have to develop strong skills across a range of disciplines.
