Term 4 2025

As we transitioned from the final week of Term 3 into the start of Term 4, it has been a wonderful time of reflection, celebration, and new beginnings within the Kambala Boarding House.

On the last Monday of Term 3, we held the Year 12 Boarders and Parents Farewell Dinner which was a heartfelt celebration of our Year 12 boarders and their incredible journey in boarding, which for some has spanned the past six years. It was a special evening filled with gratitude, memories, and pride as we acknowledged their contributions to our community.

Our Year 12 students began their HSC final examinations on the first Thursday of Term 4. We wish them every success and are immensely proud of the dedication, focus, and maturity they have shown throughout their studies.

As the new term begins, we also extend a warm welcome to Bea, who joins our Year 10 cohort. We look forward to getting to know her and are confident she will quickly feel part of our close-knit boarding family.

All year groups have their yearly exams in the coming weeks, so the focus in the Boarding House is on creating a study culture that is both supportive and balanced for all girls. We continue to offer academic assistance through the A Team tutors on Monday and Wednesday nights, complemented by the guidance of our highly capable boarding supervisors.

Weekend Recreational Activities

Kambala Girls Enjoy a Day of Sunshine, Kayaking, and Fun at Rose Bay

The Kambala girls made the most of Sydney’s beautiful spring weather with a fantastic recreational outing to Rose Bay Beach this weekend. The sun was shining and whilst there was a bit of wind on the water, nothing was stopping the girls from enjoying their outing on Sydney Harbour.

The group began their morning with kayaking at Rose Bay. With views of the Harbour Bridge, the girls worked together to paddle along the coastline. Some in single Kayaks and others working together in tandem there was lots of laughter along the way. After their time on the water, the girls cooled off with a refreshing swim, followed by some well-deserved downtime relaxing in the sunshine on the beach.

To top off a wonderful day, the group headed to Yo-Chi for some delicious frozen yoghurt — the perfect treat after an active morning.

It was a day filled with smiles, sunshine, and plenty of laughter. The perfect rec outing to start the term together. As the weather warms up the girls are very excited for more beach days, swimming activities and sunshine!
