From the Principal

As Term 4 begins, it’s remarkable to realise we’ve arrived at the final stage of the school year at Kambala. We hope the recent holiday offered our families a valuable chance to pause, recharge, and reconnect—and that our girls have returned feeling refreshed and ready to embrace the term ahead.

Our Year 12 students have already stepped into a significant milestone, beginning their HSC examinations last week. The IB students commence their assessments next week. We continue to be inspired by the focus, perseverance and poise our senior girls demonstrate as they navigate this demanding period. Their commitment is a true reflection of years of dedication, supported by teachers and families.

Thank you to all the parents and girls who joined us for the introduction to the Global Citizenship Diploma (GCD). It was a pleasure to share this exciting new initiative with such a supportive community. The GCD will provide our students with authentic opportunities to connect their learning to the world beyond Kambala—through service, intercultural understanding, and ethical leadership. As part of our ongoing commitment to the Global Sisterhood, this program represents an inspiring new chapter in empowering our girls to see themselves as active citizens of a shared and interconnected world. We look forward to launching the program and witnessing the many ways it will enrich our students’ global perspectives.

Looking ahead, the weeks to come are full of exciting opportunities and special occasions. From the Year 6 Valedictory Dinner to the Test and Quest Orientation for our incoming Year 7 cohort, there are many important moments for our community. We are especially looking forward to celebrating the year’s achievements with our broader community at Speech Day, to be held on 10 December at the State Theatre.

Term 4 is not only about events—it’s also a vital time for students to consolidate their learning, reflect on their growth, and prepare for the transitions ahead. Our dedicated teaching staff continue to support and challenge each girl to deepen her understanding, nurture her curiosity, and finish the year strong.

As always, we value the important role parents and carers play in our school community. Your involvement and partnership are central to creating the rich, connected learning environment that helps every girl flourish.

We look forward to a rewarding and memorable final term together.

Warm regards
