V.P.S.L Soccer Success

This term, a group of dedicated BSPS students; Matteo L., Hippi C., Arlo D., Bellamy B., Manduul and Gabriel S.; competed in the Victorian Primary School League (V.P.S.L) soccer competition. 

The team showed outstanding commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the season. Their efforts paid off with an incredible undefeated run; 11 wins, 1 draw and no losses. Along the way, they faced some very tough opponents, including Princess Hill 1, 2 and 3, as well as Brunswick South West, and consistently rose to the challenge, playing some of the best soccer of the season.

The semi-final saw the team secure a strong 3;1 victory, followed by a dominant 7;1 win in the grand final at Darebin Indoor Sports Complex. One unforgettable highlight was Arlo scoring directly from kick-off, sending the crowd wild!

We are incredibly proud of the team for their determination, skill and teamwork. A big thank you to Luke from Strike for organising the competition and supporting our students throughout the season. What a fantastic achievement! ⚽🎉
