Learning
and Teaching
2025 has been a year of strong academic focus and measurable progress in teaching and learning across the school. A key highlight has been the successful implementation of the MacqLit and MiniLit Sage intervention programs. These evidence-based approaches have been introduced with great care and have already supported significant growth in student literacy outcomes. The smooth rollout of both programs has enabled targeted intervention, helping students to build core skills and increase confidence in reading and comprehension.
Our data and classroom observations reflect the positive impact of these programs, with many students making impressive strides in their learning. This success is a testament to the commitment of our educators and the effectiveness of structured, research-informed literacy support.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to expand our teaching and learning toolkit with the implementation of SPELL-Ex and Initial Write. These programs will further consolidate students’ foundational skills in spelling and writing, supporting our goal of continued academic excellence. With a clear focus on literacy development and
student growth, we are confident that 2026 will be another strong year for achievement and learning.
We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to support every student in reaching their full potential.
