Principal's Message

Dear Rockley PS community,

The recent rainfall has been a welcome sight, and our vegetable gardens are flourishing as a result. Next Tuesday, we'll be using our harvested tomatoes and zucchinis to make delicious tacos and enjoy our gardens produce together!

Unfortunately, the rain meant the grounds at Morse Park were to wet and unfortunately the Gala Day has been postponed. We are working with the other small schools to find a suitable new date. Further information will be communicated as soon as it becomes available.

Congratulations to Grace on placing 4th in the Breaststroke at the Bathurst District Swimming Carnival – a fantastic achievement!

Our NAPLAN preparations are well underway. NAPLAN is one of many tools we use to identify areas of strength and areas for growth in our students. The students are familiar with the testing platform, which helps reduce any nerves.

The schedule of NAPLAN assessments at Rockley Public School is as follows:

Writing – Wednesday 11th March, 9:30 am
Reading – Thursday 12th March, 9:30 am
Language Conventions – Wednesday 18th March, 9:30 am
Numeracy – Thursday 19th March, 9:30 am
