Physical Education
In PE, students across the school have been busy and active. Grades 1–4 have been playing fun games while focusing on developing their throwing and catching skills. Students in Grades 5 and 6 have started preparing for the Summer Gala Day, and our Foundation students have settled in well, enjoying classic games such as Duck, Duck, Goose.
Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics
In STEM, we give every student the opportunity to tackle exciting weekly challenges where they explore coding, develop creative design solutions, and dive into hands-on science experiments and investigations.
Performing Arts
We have had a wonderful start to the year in Performing Arts. Our Preps in LA 1 have begun their Performing Arts lessons, settling in beautifully and showing loads of enthusiasm. It has also been pleasing to see all other classes arriving ready to learn, participate, and engage creatively in their lessons.
This term we will be focusing on the Drama component of Performing Arts. We have already started work on voice projection and using appropriate expression to convey meaning.
Susan T is on leave for the start of the year and students have Mary for their Visual Arts classes until she returns.
