🎧 CJC Wellbeing Podcast & Reading Series

As part of our ongoing work through the Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) initiative, we’re continuing our fortnightly CJC Wellbeing Podcast & Reading Series — sharing practical, evidence-informed resources aligned to the needs identified in our Parent Wellbeing Survey.

🎧 This fortnight’s recommendation: Pop Culture Parenting – Episode 25

This engaging episode explores how everyday moments — including movies, TV shows, and shared experiences — can be powerful tools for supporting children’s emotional development.

It highlights practical ways to use these moments to spark meaningful conversations, build emotional vocabulary, and help children understand and manage their feelings. There are some fantastic takeaways around strengthening connection, supporting emotional regulation, and helping children make sense of the world around them — all key themes that continue to come through strongly in our parent data.

👉 We encourage you to have a listen when you have a spare moment:

Thanks again for your ongoing partnership — we’re all working together to support the wellbeing of our students.

Behind the Behaviour: A Practical Parent Workshop (Prep–2)

This session will explore what lies behind children’s behaviour and how emotional intelligence develops over time, with practical strategies to support children in everyday situations at home and at school.
