ANZAC Ceremony

On the 28th April, Beverly Hills Girls High School held a special service to commemorate ANZAC Day on our very own ANZAC Deck. The service was student led and run by our Student Representative Council with the support of Mrs Antoniadis and streamed into all classrooms with the help of Mr Bennie and our Year 12 Entertainment Class. 

The ANZAC Ceremony was attended by local community members including Mr Alan Barnes (President of Kingsgrove RSL, Order of Australia Medalist and Returned serviceman), Flight Lieutenant Barry Sutherland from the Royal Australia Air Force, representatives from Zonta Botany Bay and army cadets from the 233 St George Army Cadet Unit. Ayshia and Petrelia from Year 12 also sung both the New Zealand and Australian National anthems live. 

It was a special service that paid respect to and honored the service of all returned servicemen and women. It also served to remind students of the values we live by as Australians and as members of Beverly Hills Girls High School.
