Beverly Hills Girls High School

Term 2, 2026

A TERM OF ACHIEVEMENT, COMMUNITY & CONNECTION

A message from the principal

What a remarkable term it has been for our BHGHS community.

Term 2 has been filled with events and milestones that reflect the very best of our school, the dedication of our staff, the resilience and talent of our students, and the generous support of our families. From solemn moments of reflection to bold displays of leadership and learning, our girls have shown us time and again what they are made of.

As we head into the term break, I hope every member of our community takes time to rest, reconnect, and return refreshed. We have much to look forward to in Term 3.

Thank you for your continued support of Beverly Hills Girls High School.

Term Highlights

Community

Parent/Teacher Meetings

Our Parent/Teacher meetings this term were a wonderful success. The strong turnout was a testament to the partnership between our families and staff — a partnership that sits at the heart of every student's progress. We thank all parents and carers who made time to attend, and our teachers for their thoughtful and thorough preparation.

Sport

Athletics Carnival

The school Athletics Carnival was an energetic and joyful day that brought out the competitive spirit and school pride in everyone involved. Students competed with enthusiasm and excellent sportsmanship, cheered on by classmates and staff alike. Congratulations to all participants and to those who claimed podium places — your effort was an inspiration.

Remembrance

Anzac Day Assembly

Our Anzac Day Assembly, held on our Anzac Deck, was a moving and meaningful occasion. Students and staff gathered to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve our nation. The solemnity and respect shown by our entire school community was truly commendable.

Leadership

Elevate Student Leadership Conference

Our student leaders represented BHGHS with outstanding distinction at the Elevate Student Leadership Conference, where they served as mentors for students from our network primary schools. This was a proud moment — our girls not only demonstrated their own leadership capabilities but generously invested in the next generation of young leaders.

Partnerships & Programs

UNSW Year 7 MakerBus partnership

Innovation and creativity come to our campus through an exciting collaboration.

We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the University of New South Wales through the Year 7 MakerBus program. This initiative brings hands-on STEM learning directly to our students, sparking curiosity and creative problem-solving in our newest cohort. The MakerBus experience connects classroom learning with real-world application, and we are grateful to UNSW for making this program accessible to our community. We look forward to seeing where this journey takes our Year 7 students.
