Year 9 News

Year 9 students have continued to demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic approach to school life throughout the Semester. It has been pleasing to see strong attendance across classes, with many students consistently arriving prepared, organised and ready to learn.

Positive behaviour in the classroom and around the school has also been recognised, with students showing increased maturity, respect and responsibility in both practical and theoretical lessons. These positive habits are contributing to a supportive learning environment and helping students achieve success across all subject areas.

The recent Athletics Carnival was a fantastic success and provided students with an excellent opportunity to showcase their athletic ability, school spirit and teamwork. Year 9 students participated enthusiastically across a wide range of events and should be commended for the way they supported one another throughout the day. Whether competing on the track, in field events or cheering on their peers, students represented the school with pride and demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and behaviour.

Students also participated positively in the Cross Country Carnival, showing determination, resilience and encouragement towards others. It was particularly pleasing to see many students challenging themselves to complete the course and support their peers along the way. Events such as the Athletics and Cross-Country Carnivals continue to strengthen year group connections and promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and school pride.

We congratulate all Year 9 students on their efforts and encourage them to continue building on their positive attendance, behaviour and participation throughout the remainder of the year.
