Our Loyola College experience

By Ava Lp and Evie Rose T

On Wednesday 6th of May, the Year Fours from St Martin’s and many other schools went to Loyola College to experience a day in the life of a high school student.

When we first arrived, we headed to the theatre, as we entered the theatre we were greeted by a video about Loyola. At lunch we had a dance with the principal (Mrs Alison Leutchford). After lunch, we headed to our first class which was sustainability. In sustainability we learnt about the melting icebergs and many other things. After sustainability, we did wood work. We made wooden tongs. It was very fun and easy to do. After wood work it was time for us to go back to the theatre and say a big thank you and goodbye to Loyola.

PS: We learnt that high school isn't hard, you just have to try.
