A huge thank you to the Year 2 Parent Reps and families for organising our BBQ and Zooper Doopers as well as a wonderful visit from Santa! Huge thanks also goes to our Christmas Market Committee - Lucinda, Liz, Bec and Marlo for organising a special Christmas Market for our community.
Word of Thanks
What a year it has been at Sacred Heart! We have celebrated so many wonderful events that brought our community together, strengthened the spirit of our school, and raised important funds for our school musical and the future sensory garden and imaginative play space. None of this would have been possible without the support, teamwork and spirit of our amazing community. Thank you for showing up, helping out, and making every event something special.
I would like to extend my deepest thanks to our entire Sacred Heart community - to Ed and Danielle, Fr Michael, our teachers and staff, and all our families.
A special thanks to our 2025 Parent Reps: Celeste, Steph, Marlo, Laura, Marlene, Jenni, Pablo, Jane, Liz, Bec, Lucinda, Dani, Simona, Indy, Christina, Emma, Laura and Prue for leading your level and organising some wonderful events for our community.
To Emma and Luisa for running our Second Hand Uniform Shop so amazingly even with the challenges of access to the hall! Amy and Caroline, thank you for your ongoing offer of support to families in our community with the Sacred Heart Meals Service.
I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our PA Executive Team: Luisa, Loretta, Laura, Nicole and Sherelle. Thank you for your steady support, your willingness to jump in whenever needed, and for always keeping the heart of our school at the centre of everything we do. We are incredibly grateful for each of you. Our community is stronger, brighter and better because of your dedication.
Being my first year as President, I have learned so much. Most importantly, I have learned just how incredible our community truly is - generous, supportive, caring, and full of people who give their time, energy, and heart to make our children’s primary school experience the best it can be.
Thank you for the late nights, the donations, the volunteering, and the willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. You help make Sacred Heart a very special place.
Wishing you and your families a very Merry, safe, and joyful Christmas.
We look forward to continuing our wonderful work together next year.

School Advisory Council
As you know, the School Advisory Council provides a forum for discussion and discernment, where parent voice and community perspective are available to inform and support the decisions made by the School Principal and Custodian of Mission for the good of school and parish, where students’ wellbeing and outcomes are paramount.
School Advisory Council members' primary role is to provide assistance and advice on school matters to support the Principal in the context of the MACS governance arrangements.
A sincere thanks to all our School Advisory Council members (see below) for all their valuable support and contributions to our school this year, providing parent voice and advice, so our school continues to thrive and be a positive learning environment for all members.

Sacred Heart Meals Service
What is the meals service?
The Sacred Heart Meals Service is available to all Sacred Heart families that require some practical help in the form of meals at a time of need. This may be due to a very happy occasion such as a new birth in the family, or in more difficult circumstances such as a death or illness in a family.
How does it work?
The Meals Service Coordinators can be contacted by a teacher, class rep, member of the Parents Association, a friend within the school or the family members themselves. The coordinators would then contact the family to chat about what would be helpful (e.g. how often, favourite meals, dietary requirements etc) and then coordinate the service, requesting assistance from the relevant year level.
It’s important to note that we are very careful in being discreet at all times and maintaining confidentiality, ensuring the family are happy with what information (if any) is passed on to those we are asking to assist.
We can be contacted via the following methods:
Amy McIvor
Ph 0411 034 463
Caroline O’Sullivan
Ph 0419 100 964
Please feel free to reach out to either of us with any questions, we are here to help!
Kind regards,
Caroline O’Sullivan (Billy Year 4) and Amy McIvor (Rafferty Year 3)
