Supporting a Safe and Inclusive School Community

It was truly heartening to conclude the year with our biggest-ever Upstander Morning Tea, where we acknowledged 52 students from Years 5–11 for their commendable acts of kindness, respect, and care.

Being an upstander is not always easy or comfortable, but it is undoubtedly the right thing to do. It’s about choosing integrity over convenience and compassion over indifference. When we choose to be upstanders, we become agents of change. We become a voice for those who feel silenced, a shield for those who are vulnerable, and a source of hope for those navigating challenges. Such actions create a ripple effect of positivity that strengthens not only our immediate school community, but contributes to a more considerate and empathetic world beyond our gates.

To our parents and carers - thank you sincerely for your partnership, encouragement, and trust throughout the year. Your support is deeply appreciated and plays a vital role in shaping the nurturing and inclusive environment we strive to provide every day.

As we begin this Advent season, may this time of preparation bring hope, peace, and reflection to each of our families as we look toward the joy of Christmas. I wish every family a safe, joyful, and holy Christmas filled with rest, togetherness, and meaningful moments of connection. May the holidays bring peace to your homes, laughter to your days, and a renewed sense of hope as we look forward to continuing our journey together in the new year.
